How to configure the Access Control List

Navigate to Menu > Configuration > Access Control List
You will see a list of system features or permission keys
For each item, select which User Roles are allowed access
Save your changes

If a role is not selected for a specific Access Control List item, users with that role will not see or access that feature.

Recommended setup approach

It is strongly recommended to:

Use PIM Admin as your full-access reference role
Keep full access enabled for PIM Admin
Remove access rights from other roles where needed

Instead of building permissions from scratch, start with full access and remove what other roles should not have. This reduces the risk of accidentally blocking required functionality.

While Permission Rules define what a role can do within entities (like Products or Categories), the Access Control List determines access to system-level functionality and menu items.

Validate
