Users

In KatanaPIM, user management is a fundamental aspect of system administration. It involves creating user accounts, assigning roles, and ensuring each team member has the appropriate level of access.

  1. Navigate to the "Users" tab and click "Add New User."
  2. Enter the user's email, password, and their first and last name.
  3. Assign the user to an appropriate role (such as "Content Manager").

Advanced settings

Fine-tuning permissions:

  1. For more specific access control, utilize the "Access Control List" in the "Configuration" tab (Menu>Configuration>Access control list)
  2. Here, you can further refine the user's permissions based on their assigned role.

User impersonation:

To ensure proper setup, use the impersonation feature to view the PIM system from the user's perspective (Menu>Users>Users>*select the desired user*>Impersonate User)
